    • Biography: Dr. Abera Uncha Utallo is an Associate Professor of Geography and Environmental Studies at Arba Minch University. He earned his PhD from the University of South Africa and has since built a distinguished academic career, supervising over 80 graduate students and authoring more than 30 scholarly publications. His research focuses on agricultural productivity, food security, and GIS-based natural resource management. A dedicated scholar, Dr. Abera also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the nationally accredited Ethiopian Journal of Business and Social Science. His work consistently bridges the gap between theoretical research and environmental resilience, contributing significantly to the fields of geography and disaster risk management in Ethiopia

With more than a decade of experience in postgraduate supervision, he currently serves as a vital link between academic research and practical policy. Beyond his institutional roles, Dr. Fassil is a highly regarded consultant and professional trainer specializing in advanced econometric software such as STATA, R, and AMOS. His career is characterized by a steadfast commitment to data-driven development and the enhancement of institutional quality within the Ethiopian economic landscape.
