Archiving Policy
Statement on the Archiving of the Ethiopian International Journal of Engineering and Technology (EIJET)
To ensure the long-term preservation, integrity, and accessibility of its scholarly publications, the Ethiopian International Journal of Engineering and Technology (EIJET) maintains a dual-location archiving system designed to safeguard the journal’s intellectual assets against data loss, technical failures, and environmental disruptions.
All published papers of EIJET are securely archived in:
- The Journal’s Official Online System (OJS Platform) – serving as the primary repository for all published content, ensuring accessibility, transparency, and authenticity through the journal’s official website.
- Microsoft Cloud Drive (OneDrive) – serving as the secondary off-site archival repository, offering secure, geographically distributed cloud storage that provides data redundancy, long-term preservation, and continuous access assurance.
This dual-archiving approach reflects EIJET’s commitment to international best practices in digital preservation and guarantees the uninterrupted availability of its published works for present and future generations of scholars.
