Publication Timeline: The Journal has established target timelines for key stages of the publication process.
- Manuscript Submission Acknowledgement: Authors will receive an Acknowledgement of manuscript receipt within 7 days.
- Peer Review: The typical peer review process takes 8 to 12 weeks. Authors will be notified within this timeframe. The timeframe may vary depending on reviewer availability and agreements. Authors will be promptly informed of any delays or changes to the expected timeline. Typically, authors receive review recommendations automatically. However, the editorial manager may also inform the author of the decision via email.
- Acceptance Decision: Once the review process is completed, with at least two reviews received from assigned reviewers, a decision will be communicated to the author. If both reviewers provide positive feedback (Accepted with Major/Minor/No Change), the manuscript will be accepted. If both reviewers recommend rejection, the manuscript will be rejected. If the reviewers have differing opinions (e.g., one recommends acceptance, the other rejection), a third reviewer will be assigned. The final decision will be based on the majority opinion of the reviewers.
- Publication: After the review process, authors are expected to submit the revised manuscript within the specified timeframe i.e., 1-2 weeks. Digital version production and publication typically take 2-3 weeks. Generally, the total time from acceptance to publication is 30-45 days. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances related to author revisions or reviewer availability. The hard copy will be published within 30 days of the digital publication.
- Plagiarism: EIJET ensures that published papers exhibit a plagiarism limit of less than 20%. This threshold does not apply to the literature review sections of the articles.
